This is the Weeks Bridge that goes over the Charles River, connecting the Allston section of Boston to Cambridge. It was constructed in 1927 to make it easier for Harvard Business School students to get to the main Harvard campus. The Weeks Bridge is a highly desirable vantage point to watch the annual Head of the Charles race that goes under the bridge. That's Eliot House in the background, one of twelve residential houses for upperclassmen at Harvard University and one of the seven original houses at the College. Right under the first arch, you can see the Weld Boathouse.
This is one of my favorite spots. It's a beautiful bridge to photograph; it's a beautiful bridge to stroll across.
